• Aldous Massie was born in Sydney in 1988.

    He is a Sydney based illustrator and designer, with clients ranging from fashion-house Hermès to political parties such as The Australian Greens.

    Aldous pursues fine arts as a hobby, and had his first solo exhibition in 2007 at Darlinghurst's
    Rince Gallery.
    He has since exhibited his work in spaces including The Paper Mill, Oh Really Gallery, Absolut Stairwell Gallery, Palmer Projects Gallery, Northbridge Street Screen, Gallery 825 and the China Heights Gallery.

    In 2007, he installed a mural in a patient's ward at the Children's Hospital of Westmead. He has given a talk on generational marketing at the Shelbourne Hotel as a part of Networx Sydney in 2009, while working as a graphic designer for Trendhaus.

    Aldous joined Make Believe as a designer and illustrator in 2010. He is currently working on personal projects while in the process of completing a B. Design at COFA (College of Fine Arts), UNSW, where he occasionally lectures. His studies have included coursework in archaeology, ceramics and climate change.

    Personal projects of his have been published in international publications such as Mao Mao Publication’s
    A Thousand Tips by a Hundred Graphic Designers.
